In addition to doing freelance work for several media outlets, I am the contributing editor for BRIGID Magazine and a contributing columnist at Genetic Literacy Project.

I received my degree in English from Simon Fraser University and am working towards a second degree in Health Sciences. I have completed certificate courses in Epigenetics, Personalized Medicine, Human Physiology, and Genetics and Evolution.

Born in Williston, North Dakota, I have moved over 30 times in my life, and currently reside in Vancouver, British Columbia with my family.

When I'm not writing, I love to read, travel, attend concerts, peruse Netflix, and exercise. I am a hospice volunteer.
